A small-batch artisan tea for thoughtful tea drinkers who crave transparency and connection.
Vangedi Pekoe is a single-origin black tea stone-pounded in the traditional vangedi method by small-scale growers in Uva, Sri Lanka. With rich notes of brown sugar, malt, and orange peel, this bold tea is anything but ordinary.
But the real magic? The story behind the leaf.
Once called Thieves’ Tea, this style was made secretly by estate workers who brought leaves home to craft tea for their own families—outside the control of colonial tea companies. What was once hidden is now honored.
This tea is a quiet act of resistance—and a celebration of heritage.
Made using sustainable, pesticide-free practices, Vangedi Pekoe invites you to slow down, sip with intention, and connect to something deeper: land, lineage, and the people who make your ritual possible.
We package every order in 100% compostable materials—no plastic, no greenwashing—because what you consume should reflect what you care about.
Whether it’s your morning ritual or your afternoon reset, Vangedi Pekoe transforms tea time into something sacred.
